New direct revenues for the #EUBudget are both an urgent need and an opportunity to build Europe's future. Today, in @EP_Budgets, I presented a report I co-authored which insists on Commission proposals for new #ownresources by the third quarter of 2023.

We can't harm our future generations! Without new #ownresources we are sabotaging their access to a robust budget. #Newresources means protecting the cohesion countries. We are achieving 3 goals simultaneously: fresh revenues; fiscal/social justice; fair competition.
