In the trial of the Seán Binder and 23 humanitarians today in Greece, the prosecutor recommends the charges be dropped for lack of translation!

This is a crucial step towards dropping all charges, including felonies, and towards justice.

For years now the defence has pointed out severe procedural errors in the case - key documents not translated or missing, vague sub poenas, we didn’t even know who or when some of the charges related to!

Correction: the prosecutor proposes an annulment. Which means preparing a new summons correcting the mistakes of the first. However given the statute of limitations, it looks like the charges (on the misdemeanours) will run out of time.
