RT @AuschwitzMuseum: 8 June 1939 | A French Jewish girl, Simone Gotlib, was born in Paris.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 18 August 1942 in a transport of 997 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among 897 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
