Frontex coordinated a large-scale operation against illicit waste trafficking across EU external borders with great support from @Europol and @EUAntiFraud

As part of the operation, law enforcement officers checked vans, trucks, ships and other cargos.
The operation in numbers:
👉 2 500 controls
👉 100 cases of illicit waste trafficking
👉 2000 tonnes of waste seized
👉 43 arrests
