In Herefordshire, @TheGreenParty and Independent councillors have repeatedly reached out to @LibDems with the aim of forming a cross-party coalition to run @HfdsCouncil for the benefit of all Herefordshire residents. The @LibDems have refused. We wonder why?

Yesterday we sent this open letter. The response: LibDems cancelled our planned meeting & confirmed they refuse to cooperate with us at all. This is very disappointing. Elsewhere in the UK, Greens & LibDems work well together; we hope for the same in Herefordshire.

Here are the numbers each group has on Herefordshire council:
Conservative: 21 (~40%)
Lib Dems: 12 (~23%)
Green: 9 (~17%)
I4H: 6 (~11%)
TI: 3 (~6%)
Ungrouped: 2 (~4%)
Total: 53 councillors.
No group has a majority - all have a responsibility to seek common ground.

Greens are keen to cooperate with @LibDems colleagues, and hope LibDems will recognise their responsibility to work constructively with other groups for the benefit of Herefordshire as a whole. If they refuse, they will enable a minority Conservative administration.
