@IOMKenya and @NCMKENYA, under the auspices of the Better Migration Management (BMM) programme funded by @EU_Partnerships & @BMZ_Bund, hosted a breakfast meeting on 29 May 23 in Nairobi to raise awareness on the impact of migration on Kenya’s economy.

Following the meeting, the delegates agreed to collaborate to optimize efforts to anchor the NCM into law & promote the adoption of the draft national migration policy, which includes comprehensive guidelines for migration management that are in line with the UN SDGs.

Presided by Amb. Julius Bitok, @ImmigrationDept PS & NCM chair, present were Principal Secretaries & Heads of Department from ministries & agencies with migration-related mandates such as @gender_ke, @ASALs_KE, @Min_TourismKE, @ImmigrationDept, @Diaspora_KE, & @CorrectionalKE.
