Odd that broadcasters ask whether the @Conservatives’ opposition to a windfall tax is “practical” or “ideological”. ALL conservative opposition to tax rises is practical. Taxes sacrifice future growth to present revenue, shrinking the economy and so ultimately reducing revenue.
