V okviru zadnjega dne uradnega obiska na Poljskem je slovenski predsednik obiskal muzejski kompleks koncentracijskega taborišča Auschwitz-Birkenau, kjer sta ga sprejela direktor Spominskega muzeja AB dr. Piotr M. A. Cywinski in generalni direktor Fundacije AB Wojciech Soczewica.
