I welcome steps towards normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. A historic peace treaty is closer than ever. It will serve both countries and nations, but also benefit the region as a whole.
Both leaders should feel our support to achieve this long-desired goal, which has been for too long sabotaged and blocked by Moscow. And we need to offer prospects for the future. That's why I tabled this amendment to be voted on next week.
