RT by @AndrzejHalicki: An exhibition dedicated to political prisoners in #Belarus opened in #Brussels
The exhibition "I am not afraid, let them be afraid" is dedicated to political prisoners held by Lukashenko's regime. A special emphasis is devoted to the Belarusian political prisoner, human rights activist and Nobel Prize winner Ales Bialiatski.
Bialiatski is a symbol of the Belarusian struggle for freedom, but he is only one of many honest Belarusians who are now behind bars. As of October 25, 1,479 people were recognized as political prisoners in Belarus.
The opening was attended by the head of the United Transitional Cabinet mission in Brussels Uladzimir Ostapienka, MEP Andrzej Halicki, head of the Belarusian House in Warsaw (@BelaruskiDom) Ales Zarembiuk, as well as numerous representatives of European institutions dealing with Belarusian affairs in Brussels.
The exhibition entitled "I am not afraid, let them be afraid" can be visited at the office of the Mission of Democratic Belarus in Brussels - Arenbergstraat 1d, 1000, Brussels.
