I asked the Govt if they have considered that 14 working days is too long to receive the Cold Weather Payment for households that have to top-up their meters.
I also asked them if they would increase the Cold Weather Payment in line with inflation.

Their response?
The max waiting time is 14 working days (nearly 3 weeks) and they did not even acknowledge that £25 for 7 days of freezing temperatures is not enough support during the energy crisis they have failed to get a grip on.
Did the Minister even read my questions?🤔
