@MrTCHarris You're missing the point deliberately. Labour isn't the govt. It is the govt's job to govern and dividing opinion whether on Rail or Rwanda isn't governing. It's an attempt to bring about a divisive 'them and us' approach for political gain. It makes Conservative politics toxic.
@lewis_goodall @maitlis @jonsopel Good luck Lewis. I'm sure you'll do a great job!
@MrTCHarris Commuters are also the ones having their pay cut in real terms like rail staff, health workers we clapped during the pandemic and the rest of the public sector. We support all of them. It is the govt that are trying to pit one group against the other by using you lot and others.
@MrTCHarris You call it linguistic acrobatics, I call it explaining what is presented as a simple binary question that isn't. It is a diversion to put the Labour Party on the spot when the govt should be dealing with it. It is you defending the govt not me defending the unions.
@MrTCHarris Of course you know this as a former 'spinner', but are happy to do the govt's bidding for them as part of their sympathetic press corps.
@MrTCHarris I support anyone's right to strike and it is their personal choice. What I think about it is not important in the context that it is the government's job to govern and to try and resolve the issue, not abrogate their responsibilities by backheeling the matter to the opposition.
@MrTCHarris You were a Labour transport spokesperson once Tom, so you know the score. So why do you come out with this tosh? Is it just to pander to your Tory supporting paymasters?

RT @lewis_baston: I bought the Times yesterday in paper form because my parents are visiting; was quite an auspicious day to do this as it turns out I have one of the pre-suppression copies. A moment - a very peculiar moment - in media history.
RT @CoopParty: 📺 Today Labour and Co-operative MP @MpHendrick has tabled major proposed legislation which has the potential to help grow the co-operative movement - we look forward to supporting its progress 🐝

RT @mutuoUK: @MpHendrick has today formally introduced a Private Members Bill with a range of necessary reforms for #cooperatives #friendlysocieties and #mutualinsurers (1/4)
I am proud to launch my Private Members' Bill which would make it easier for #cooperatives to get started in the UK, get more investment & keep working in the best interest of their members. After the campaign to takeover LV= last year, we must make sure this never happens again.
Campaigning today for the #Wakefieldbyelection with @connord_291 and Mick Murray from @bradsouthlabour. #Wakefield previously had a Conservative MP now they live in Hope. 😉
@UKLabour @prestonlabour
@martynrolly She's a fascist telling porkies to spread hatred.
@JohnSwindells52 It's a headline John, not a serious policy.
@Tony_McNulty 👍
@Tony_McNulty Not always in picture to sound synch Tony. Nothing worse than hearing a goal being scored when the free kick just outside the box on the screen hasn't been taken yet.
This #VolunteersWeek, I have been proud to celebrate the unstoppable volunteers, knitters, befrienders, mentors, drivers, gardeners, environmentalists, mental health supporters, #YouthSocialAction ambassadors and so many others in #Preston for all that they do. Thank you.
