RT @lewis_baston: I bought the Times yesterday in paper form because my parents are visiting; was quite an auspicious day to do this as it turns out I have one of the pre-suppression copies. A moment - a very peculiar moment - in media history.
I am proud to launch my Private Members' Bill which would make it easier for #cooperatives to get started in the UK, get more investment & keep working in the best interest of their members. After the campaign to takeover LV= last year, we must make sure this never happens again.
Campaigning today for the #Wakefieldbyelection with @connord_291 and Mick Murray from @bradsouthlabour. #Wakefield previously had a Conservative MP now they live in Hope. 😉

This #VolunteersWeek, I have been proud to celebrate the unstoppable volunteers, knitters, befrienders, mentors, drivers, gardeners, environmentalists, mental health supporters, #YouthSocialAction ambassadors and so many others in #Preston for all that they do. Thank you.
#PlatinumJubileeCelebration 1980s Music in the (Worden) Park in Leyland, Lancs. Just seen Carol Decker, T'Pau. Tony Hadley on the way! With @PrestonCity Cllr Martyn Rawlinson @rolly. Thanks @SRLabour
Congratulations to HRH the #Queen on her #PlatinumJubileeCelebration at Buckingham Palace today! It doesn't seem like twenty years since she came to Preston to award us City status for her Golden Jubilee.
RT @martynrolly: The Fishwick 247 energy scheme started by the coalition government is a scandal of epic proportions. Implemented by energy companies and sub contractors, it left homes damp and uninhabitable. Today Labour and the @NEA_UKCharity start to make some headway on the repairs…
After years of battling for #Fishwick residents affected by poorly installed insulation, we’re finally getting the scaffolding up and remedial work started on the first set of homes organised by @NEA_UKCharity, working with @yourseddon and @AldrockUK https://www.nea.org.uk/fishwick/
Just over a week to go for the @PrestonCityMela which proudly returns to Avenham Park on 4th June. A triple celebration of the #QueensPlatinumJubilee, 25th Mela anniversary and 20 years since #Preston got City Status. Celebrate with South Asian culture, food, dance and music!
RT @StephenMorganMP: Dartford Tories laughing at the opening of local foodbanks reminds us how out of touch they are with the challenges communities face and a lack of a plan to tackle the cost of living. Pleasure to join @Dartford_Labour tonight to hear their ambitions for the next Labour Government
RT @CPassarelloDWP: Thanks @MpHendrick for your #Preston Jobcentre visit. Fantastic feedback on how much we help our local customers "It was informative and good to hear about the great work JCP staff are doing in getting people into work. Especially young people and people with a health condition"
RT @martynrolly: Burned to the ground last night. Watched Star Wars here, Back to the Future, Rocky I to IV in one sitting, Ghostbusters, fell in love with @MollyRingwald in Pretty in Pink, the iconic films of my childhood…
So lightening can strike twice! Over ten years since my last Private Members Bill.

This week is #DementiaActionWeek. Met today with two groups tackling the Dementia crisis. Firstly with the @alzheimerssoc to look at the work of the Dementia Diagnostics Hubs.
Then with Lawrence Geller, entrepreneur and major funder of dementia care homes and research in the UK.
RT @thijsreuten: Great to see you again Mark after 25 years! Looking forward to work with you and your colleagues on a fruitful cooperation in the very important EU-UK parliamentary assembly and beyond. 🇪🇺🤝🇬🇧
On duty yesterday and today at the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly in Brussels trying to 'patch up' the relationship post-Brexit. Good start to what is likely to be a long process.
RT @LordRickettsP: Summary of how this went. Everyone glad to be talking again, lots of good intentions to look ahead, and at future meetings work on practical recommendations which could make a difference. Perhaps working groups between 6-monthly sessions to give us more capacity. However 1/3
