As Somalia’s Debt Relief Champion, I’m proud to co-host a Roundtable on Somalia at @WorldBank Annuals. Somalia needs finance to build resilience & move away from recurring humanitarian crises. They continue to make progress on economic reforms, edging ever closer to debt relief.

The grain deal is working.
The volume of grain exported under the Initiative is up from 1.5m tonnes in August to nearly 4m tonnes in September.
To help further stabilise global food prices, the grain deal must continue and Russia must not block its extension.
