I love making things but rarely get time with my sewing machine.

Tomorrow, I will represent Chelmsford at a Coronation Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.

Made these wrap around trousers with fabric from Nigeria - combining UK “homemade” & Commonwealth.

Ps I love @sewingbee

RT @PennyMordaunt: Honoured to be part of the with thousands of others who played their part. I'm very aware that our armed forces, police officers & others have been marching or standing for hours as part of the ceremony or to keep us all safe. Here’s a lovely story.

I knocked on the door of a 92 yo today. He quoted a Winston Churchill speech remembered from his childhood & said his father had helped design the Spitfire.

Then he showed me this medal that belonged to his mum.

We had a huge hug. So moving, bless him.💙
