Earlier today, I visited the Sports Complex at Kirkop where preparations are being held for next Tuesday’s L-istrina. I've thanked all the volunteers involved and hoped that the Maltese people contribute in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.

Miriam & I visited the counting process of the funds collected during l-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank Campaign from primary & secondary schools in Malta & Gozo. The total sum collected will be presented during l-Istrina. This campaign is an example of national unity.

I received representatives from the Foundation for Educational Services who presented me with a generous contribution to l-Istrina 2023. I was pleased to hear that Skolasajf 2023, which ran bywith the slogan ‘Peace by Piece’, this year welcomed over 12,000 students.

Miriam & I welcomed the Romanian Orthodox Community in Malta at Sant'Anton Palace, where they joyfully performed Christmas carols in Romanian, English & Maltese. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance & appreciated the handmade booklet, featuring all our encounters.
