This morning I had the pleasure of welcoming the members of the St Mary’s Band Club, #Għaxaq at Sant’Anton Palace. During this courtesy call I heard with pleasure about the history of this association as well as the projects planned for the future.

It was a pleasure to attend the musical and instrumental concert by St Paul’s Band on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Soċjetà Mużikali San Pawl in St Paul's Bay. I would like to congratulate this association on this anniversary and wish them a happy feast.

This morning I welcomed a group of visitors from the Mqabba Parish at Sant’Anton Palace, where I listened with pleasure about the various activities that are organised by the thriving Parish community. I would also like to thank them for their generous donation to the MCCF.

Today I met with the Secretary General of the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation, Mr Andrew Agius Muscat. We talked about the Foundation’s work in promoting sustainable tourism growth across the #Mediterranean by transforming the region into an area of prosperity.

Miriam & I congratulated the athletes & officials of Special Olympics Malta who with determination achieved remarkable success in the Special Olympics World Games held last month in Berlin.

Today I had the pleasure of receiving again a courtesy call by the Malta ESG Alliance.
I enjoyed hearing about the tangible initiatives taken by this alliance in order to achieve environmental, social and national governance goals with the aim of setting an example to others.
