Today we’ve met the members of the Alive Charity Foundation. This year, for the ALIVE2023 #Cycling Challenge for Cancer challenge, 42 cyclists will participate in a seven day, 1300km cycle in Spain.

We started this day dedicated to mothers with a mass celebrated at Sant'Anton's Chapel. My wife and I would like to wish a day to all mothers in our country that is as special as they truly deserve.

I received the Secretary of State of the Holy See, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, on a courtesy call earlier this week. We discussed the war in Ukraine at great length, entering into particular detail on the devastating humanitarian consequences of Russia’s invasion.
