Good idea, maybe they could introduce a similar system for Councillors.
You could have a code of conduct which says you have to declare any interest and recuse yourself before voting to sell off land if your wife is looking to buy it.
Oh wait...

Re @UkraineIreland Would you prefer they didn't "draft dodge"?
Surely we should be encouraging Russians to refuse conscription if we want the Russian invasion to be expelled in the quickest time possible?
Or are you against all Russians even if they're against the war and Putin?

Dail shamefully votes to continue non-jury special criminal court which operates on basis of belief evidence of Gardai.
This is an affront to basic principles of civil liberties and justice. Amnesty, ICCL and many others have called for its abolition.

Re @AlanHayesDublin I haven't.
I've been the accused in a trial where Gardai lied to try to convict me and others though.
I was very happy to have a jury who could see through those lies which were disproven my video evidence.
Have you heard of remote juries?

Re @mccullaghniall So you support the targeting of civilians, as long as it's done by NATO?
Why do you persist in spreading disinformation that we are on the same side as Russia?
From day 1 we opposed the invasion. When Bertie Ahern was shaking Putin's hand, we were protesting against him.
