Mattie has every right to his free dinner with a supporter of genocide.
People have every right to conclude that he's OK with the US vetoing a ceasefire and funding Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

Eamon Ryan is greenwashing

outcome.
It is an historic failure sacrificing small island nations and the future of humanity to the profits of Big Oil companies.
We need a fossil fuel non proliferation treaty.

The cutting of welfare payments to Ukrainian refugees, overwhelmingly women and children, to €39 a week is disgusting. The plan to throw them on the streets after 90 days is even worse.
It should also remind everyone just how awful the treatment of other asylum seekers is.

It is very welcome that SIPO is going to fully investigate my complaints against Robert Troy.
It appears that his defence is that he repeatedly broke the ethics legislation accidentally. It will be interesting to see if SIPO buys that.

Eamon Ryan suggesting that "transitioning away from" and "phase out" mean the same things.
Do they think we are stupid?

I love how Eamon Ryan has spent almost two weeks at COP28 negotiating a text.
Now that the text is finalised here suggests the phrasing in the text doesn't really matter be cause "transitioning away from" means the same as "phase out".
It clearly doesn't. 🤷

Nobody, Irish or migrant, needs to be on the streets in a country where 50,000 houses have been empty for sixty years or more.

Mattie McGrath and Michael Collins attending a dinner at the US Ambassador's residence while the US funds and supports genocide in Gaza.
Who is the third man in the back?
Shame on them.
Their opposition to all the Dáil motions supporting Palestine makes sense now.
