This is happening in Dublin South West too.
RT @ThomasPringleTD: I've learned medical card patients in the North West, some in their 80s, being charged for routine blood tests, a service they're entitled to free through the HSE.

This is shocking and I refuse to turn a blind eye! Every citizen deserves affordable care

Solidarity with Thomas Gould.

Why are the far-right targeting the left and Sinn Féin?
RT @IrlagainstFash: Ross Lahive, Steve and Max accosted Thomas Gould at Kent Railway Station today in Cork City. They are nothing more than far-right thugs using bully boy tactics and name calling to harass people. t.co/kehQVvUjak

We should be welcoming those seeking asylum and fleeing war, persecution, and oppression!

✊We need to fight and challenge this capitalist system and imperialism that is driving war and climate disaster!!

System change feels too big for any one person to make a difference. And it is! That's why building & participating in mass movements is the way forward.

But there are small steps we can take to help biodiversity. Here's some of what we've been doing in our garden in Tallaght.

We know the biggest culprit is land use change, ie industrial farming. There can be no more foot dragging - we need to urgently discuss & develop a plan *with* farmers to move away from dairy & beef, and restore ecosystems.

Nevermind that scientists are saying that biodiversity decline will threaten our ability to produce enough food - you know, the thing we all need to survive.

No, if it's threatening profits, we need to slow down, debate it some more. Meanwhile...

Today the Dáil will hear statements on the citizens assembly recommendations on biodiversity. Almost everybody will stand up and say we need to act, but then as usual, the profits of big ag will be prioritized by gov and nothing much will change.

These are the people who want you to blame planning policy for the housing crisis...
RT @wereontheditch: Glenveagh, one of Ireland’s largest property developers, claims state planning policy is the biggest obstacle to building homes.

It’s sitting on 5,000 successful planning applications – more than double its usual output.

🤔Does this not illustrate that the entire purpose of the economic policy of this Government is NOT to serve the interests of ordinary people but instead, is to serve the interests of rich corporations??

Up to one in five parents are going without food because of rising costs while the supermarkets and big agri-food companies are making record profits.

This is a scandal.

We need price controls on essential goods.

Isn't it a mad world when a government is fighting not to get €13.1 billion in tax which could be spent on housing, health and a just transition?
RT @NaomiOhReally: Legal teams take their place in Luxembourg for the final round in a court battle over whether Apple underpaid €13.1 billion in tax to Ireland.

Those who scream "paedo" at the left are the people who want to stop protecting children from abuse by giving them sex education.

They're the same people who want the church back in control.

One of the prominent members was acting editor of the 'Irish Catholic'.
RT @sslibfriends: A 10-year-girl in Delaware picked up “It’s Perfectly Normal” while at the library with her mother. When they came home, she showed her mom the chapter on sexual abuse and said, “This is…
