The Greens are trying to have it both ways on the airport.
Their TDs and MEP are rightly objecting to proposals to increase the number of passengers going through Dublin Airport. Not only does it mean more noise and disruption for residents, it means more carbon emissions.

As recently as 2017 when in Opposition, Eamon Ryan introduced the Prohibition of Fossil Fuels (Keep it in the Ground) Bill, which sought to completely ban the renewal, reinstatement, or extension of any licence for the exploration of all forms of petroleum including natural gas.

The majority of homes in the country are now refusing to pay this regressive, unjust tax.

All prosecutions for non-payment of TV licence should be dropped. 1/2 of those eligible are now refusing to pay!
The government should scrap this unjust tax.
Instead, we need a Big Tech Tax on social media giants to properly fund public service broadcasting!
