It is astonishing that nobody is talking about Peter Flavel, the CEO of Coutts, in this scandal.

The Media Team at NatWest thought they could spin their way out of this mess with lies.

The Times on Coutts:
"This seems to be how business is increasingly done in this country. Fearful of censure by self-styled progressives, businesses appoint themselves judge, jury & executioner — their judgments entirely subjective, their processes opaque ... This is Kafkaesque"

Matt Goodwin: Coutts is a good example of how the institutions are being politicised and reshaped around the values of the New Elite. It's not just the banks. It's the galleries, the museums, the public bodies, the schools, the civil service, the universities, etc etc

The words “Inclusivity” and “Purpose” now fulfil the same function that “Socialism” did for Soviet apparatchiks — lofty-sounding cover for acts against people you don’t like. t.co/owjyJClA9J

Camilla Stowell once said she sees Coutts’ role as ‘being more than just a bank’.
Who do these people think they are?
