The Government has again delayed starting import checks on EU food. As we’ve noted, this puts our negotiating power, biosecurity, and competitiveness all at risk, which could mean more EU food imports while British jobs are in effect exported.

Today the Russian Federation have announced that I am to be ‘sanctioned’ by them, along with 280+ cross-party colleagues, for comments we have made in Parliament in support of Ukraine and in condemnation of Putin’s regime.
