@ninehonours @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty I support people making their own decisions. It's the law.

@Elle_Humphries @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 That affects those in rural areas/those with chronic illness/disability disproportionately.

That's what we're trying to avoid.

I want our health services to be sustainable, timely, and accessible for everyone who needs them: right now, they're none of those things.

@Elle_Humphries @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I do? The Disability Discrimination Act isn't within the Justice Department's remit.

And I do give people with disabilities consideration in healthcare: without implementing Bengoa reforms in a properly funded way, services will continue to collapse. 1/2

@IrishDOOMfan @conradder @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 No, we aren't. We support investment in public services and healthcare that's free at the point of access. We have consistently promoted reforms to better protect those on low incomes and lift people out of poverty.

All the smears suggest someone's very spooked by Alliance...

@conradder @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I said I would rather travel: I live in Belfast.

No-one said centralisation and reform would or should lead to all services being in urban areas.

That's why reform is essential: the pattern of services withering in rural areas will get worse. That's unfair and unsustainable.

@TomHewitt23 @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty *hear*
Some are pleased we called to ask for their vote, but don't vote Alliance. Others thank us for the work we've been doing in the area. Others confirm they're voting Alliance and wish us well. Others ask for help with practical issues. And a small number are firmly no.

@Billy_rfcc @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty At least I'd have to try to make a clown out of myself...seems to come naturally to you...

@Billy_rfcc @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty Well, you must have felt them do it? Did you not think to look to see who it was?

@eammyf @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty I don't have a mob. And I'm erasing no-one's rights.

Hope that helps.

@ZKSnarks @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty No, they aren't. The local people we canvassed said the opposite on the doors. This isn't reflective of the views of the community.

@ninehonours @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty Law here is the same as across the UK and was introduced by the UK Parliament.

You wouldn't want an Irish Sea Border on women's rights, would you?

@CliffordMcilwee @ValHopeHanna1 @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty You're the one asking, not us.

@TomHewitt23 @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty Not what people told us when we knocked on their doors.

@eammyf @CllrMichaelLong @allianceparty Doubt it as they aren't.

But either way, it's illegal, intimidatory and unacceptable. I presume you agree?

You're not actually trying to defend this or deflect from it, are you?
