This started as short exchange with someone I knew and descended into abuse within seconds, mainly from people who hadn't read the full exchange.

@Sadbh73286087 @Jebadoo2 @SimonCatRiley @squinteratn I certainly don't agree that same sex attraction should be characterised as bigotry: it isn't. I also don't think anyone should be policing who others are attracted/not attracted to. Who we form intimate relationships with is a private matter.

I was responding to that specific point in a "conversation."

Everyone is free to be attracted to whomever they wish, same sex or otherwise. No-one's entitled to a relationship/sex.

I disagree with Stonewall on this: I just also disagreed with it being described as "compelling people."

People should absolutely be free to date/marry/live with/be attracted to who they want without any coercion/shame.

As I have said repeatedly, I don't think it's Stonewall's business or anyone else's who people do or don't find attractive. It's an entirely private matter.
