@theedanny @SpunkyMonkeyIre I can't discuss the details as this is a live investigation; however, suspension on full pay during an investigation is not unusual in HR terms.
The timeline is more complex in organisations with external investigators.

And any right-thinking person would be appalled by these alleged behaviours and expect action against those involved.
Loathe to give the band more publicity, but as a community we need to start asking ourselves what messages we're sending out about the kind of future we want.
Normalising/excusing violence, seeking to cause hurt/offence, isn't how to build a better future for us all.
The band in question court controversy: it's publicity and I doubt this latest mural will do them any harm.
However, the same can't be said of young children being groomed into sectarian hatred.
We've seen this all summer: it needs to stop. We owe the next generation better.

I do think the group are deliberately provoking a reaction to get publicity - I'm loathe to give them any.
However, the fact that it impacts young children is evidence that this isn't just a harmless stunt.

I have said I fully support the family's quest to know the truth about what happened to Noah: I just can't comment on issues like PII that's part of the inquest process.

I find such accusations hugely distressing: they're not just wholly wrong but also defamatory.
I want the family to know the truth: I simply cannot intervene.
@Richard_Ardvark UBI isn't benefits. Those earning enough pay tax to restore that balance. If and when their circumstances change, UBI offers a dignified protection from severe hardship.

I understand that people are hurting and distressed. The death of a child is the worst thing can happen to any family. But that doesn't give you the right to imply that I am complicit in a cover-up.

I fully support the family's desire to know the truth of what happened: as MoJ, I have a duty to uphold due process and I cannot interfere in live cases.
