The issue is that our services are structured differently. Most of the overspend last year was energy inflation. A lot of that was for NIW. In other regions, government doesn't provide that service.

@l_oc81 Sadly, if reform isn't done proactively, it continue to be a problem. I acknowledged that in the interview: we either plan for change and ensure it's fair or it's imposed by crises in delivery.

We've engaged with local people throughout: we just have another meeting tomorrow.

When we talk about job creation, connectivity, climate change, education & skills, young people's views are just as valid and important.

After all, they will inherit the legacy of today's choices.

I said we didn't support *additional* water charges, but separate charges with a commensurate reduction in rates.

I said those who could afford to pay for prescriptions (like me), should do so, and those who can't shouldn't.
