I said the pace of resolution of discipline cases needs to be addressed as being on suspension on full pay for 5 years just isn't defensible. The issue is about the speed of resolution not fundamental employment rights.

'Legend' is often overused, but there's no other word for Prof Eileen Evason.

A champion of equality, women's rights and social justice, her work on radio, in particular, empowered people to know and access their rights and justice.

So sad to learn of her passing. #RestInPower.

We could have legislation to ensure those willing to work in @niassembly can do so (which @allianceparty proposed months ago).

Instead, legislation is rushed through punishing those with genuine grievances. 🤷
