They're already consulted and engaged on areas of N/S cooperation - if you think that won't continue at Govt level, without our input, you're deluded.

We left the EU. That means checks and market surveillance have to happen somewhere.
We can reduce and minimise the impact but it's the rules we put in place for 3rd countries when we were in the EU.
@gonefishingaga @Redeyes1878 Not confusing at all. When government signs a deal with the EU and makes it law, they should implement what they agreed.
If they want to do something else, they need to agreed that change with the EU first.
That's exactly what we've said all along.

I criticise consistently those I feel are responsible for playing games with people's lives. Right now, it's the DUP: when it's SF I say so.

@Redeyes1878 We have indeed lobbied for change and have continued to discuss our proposals (some of which have been deliver) with the UK, Irish and EU leads.
You honestly need to pay better attention to our position.
