The issue is how we build a better future which isn't about denominational states - Catholic or Protestant, or otherwise - but a shared and integrated society for a pluralist and diverse people.

Your argument is that everyone who voted for them did so to support this one thing and none did so in spite of it. That is fanciful.

You do that by voting them out in elections.
Meanwhile, those of us who are working and want to get on with the whole job, would support that approach entirely.
