I'm wortied about imagery of burning landrovers being placed in the view of impressionable children.
There's a difference.

@kingbrianconnor @Richiedupz I guess if a police office has almost been burned to death while protecting you, your view of burning landrovers as "just art" is affected.
I think exposing children to violent images isn't helpful in breaking down hatred and mistrust in our community.
@croi_mor @Justice_NI That's why @allianceparty are committed to needs-based investment in communities and to working with DfC to ensure that fewer children are remanded in custody due to lack of alternative accommodation (the most common reason children are held in Woodlands).
@croi_mor We've been doing some detailed research into those figures in @Justice_NI.
Basically, when you strip the data back, the correlation is between deprivation and exposure to the justice system, not religion.
If we are going to tackle those stats we need to tackle that inequality.>

I'm also not actually commenting on Féile here, either: I'm commenting on this specific issue and with respect, have every right to do so.
