@Bellabelfast62 @johnnysoup3 I agree. But it requires cross-Executive agreement.
@JeanNapier6 Of course I care about the death of Noah. I cannot intervene in a live coroner's investigation: to do so would jeopardise any future prosecution.
@TomTory1 @Hsenigov @ChiefConPSNI @ShaileshVara There's a time and place for the discussion about regulation, but this isn't it. Happy to engage re FICT report with other departments.
@AlbertCooke15 Pretty much what I said, Albert.
@JulieACorr Totally agree. I get that people have strong views on bonfires, but there's a grieving family dealing with unimaginable loss.
Surely, we should all be thinking of them, first and foremost.
@SorchaEastwood You work hard - week in, week out. You shouldn't have to contend with this misogyny for having time out with your family. Report and block.
And enjoy some well-earned down time. X
@BenRainey7 @Bellabelfast62 Read the room, Ben. Neither the time nor the place.
@hand_oul One for another day. But undoubtedly something any new Executive will have to grapple with.
@Bellabelfast62 I'm not a unionist. And I have spoken out.
I also recently convened a Ministerial meeting of the Bonfire MOU group to look at particularly high risk areas.
As I say, let's leave the family in peace to grieve: this is a discussion for another day.
RT @AmandaFBelfast: NEW: I worked as a producer/fixer/analyst on this story with @AngelaRodicio and the @rtve crew when they visited Ireland from Spain last month. It’s their look at our complex past, present and future... Thanks to all involved🙏🏻

Heartbreaking news that a young man has lost his life in a fall from a bonfire. Thinking of his family, friends and the wider community as they come to terms with this tragic loss of life.
I hope people will give them space to grieve privately at such a difficult time.
@EarsAllex @Ciaran_O @thePPSNI I can't comment on an ongoing case: if I do so, I could jeopardise any future prosecution.
@Ciaran_O @EarsAllex @thePPSNI It's incredibly difficult for anyone to comment on the specifics while the investigation(s) remain(s) live.
@EarsAllex @Ciaran_O The @thePPSNI are independent of my office: they are a non-ministerial department in their own right.
Any queries in relation to their decisions/timings should be sent to the Director.
I understand there are both files with PPS and ongoing investigations with OPONI.
@kckatie_ @richardtgarland @naomhgallagher @GrantSana @PantiBliss It is a truly disturbing and distressing case. My understanding is that the case is being investigated via PONI and files are with PPS, as well as Prof. Standards in PSNI.
All are independent of DOJ but Policing Board or Police Ombudsman would have oversight of handling issues.

RT @allianceparty: Johnson must go now. Not in three months, not in three weeks, now.
RT @SteveDonnelly95: @allianceparty have worked hard on the Place Shaping Plan for Omagh to put forward ideas around green & open spaces, stronger infrastructure & connectivity, and greater economic opportunities within a united community.
I was glad last night to propose moving to the next stage 👇🏻
