@KeithMillsD7 No-one said that. What would be stupid is to meet their needs at the expense of the majority of businesses which are flourishing and what is dishonest is to use their experience and present it as typical of all businesses when it isn't. That's my point.

@Darrenmcbride1J No, we aren't. We've set out details changes and raised them with the EU and UK. Some, like medicines, have already been implemented.
As opposed to others just calling for it to be scrapped.
What all businesses need is political stability: it's others depriving them of that.

@SPENCE_JOHN That's simply untrue, John. The vast majority of businesses want the protocol to stay and are protected by it/benefit from it.
If amendments were agreed with the EU such as those we've proposed, it would improve further. That's what most businesses actually want.
