@NoSeaBorderNI @GrantDi84455099 @BBCMarkSimpson Do you hear a lot of Ulster Scots being spoken in Belfast? Not a single unionist Councillor spoke in Ulster Scots when they became Lord Mayor either, by the way, so that won't help.
However, Alliance try to include it where appropriate, eg. DoJ branding which I updated.

As Party Leader, I've no role in Lord Mayor selection: that decision was made by the Council group.
The Deputy can deputise for LM but not *be* LM. Alliance is entitled to fill the post by law for 1 year.
