I've visited Downpatrick to meet with people impacted by flooding. The destruction and the uncertainty they're facing is heartbreaking.
I've called on the SoS to bring forward financial aid for them. However, this is yet another example of how ransom politics is hurting NI.

The work was due to start in the autumn & the design is complete. Delay in contract award means the scheme will now go ahead in early 2024.
