I’d be tempted to suggest that continuation of partition should require a 60% majority.
But that would be in clear breach of the Good Friday Agreement, so daft thoughts should be kept in the head of the beholder.

Many thousands dead and injured, hundreds of thousands displaced, and countless homes razed to the ground.

A whole population denied the most basic of human rights with no access to water, food, medicine, and other necessary supplies.

This is a humanitarian crisis.

The breaking of international law is taking place in real time and everyday in Gaza.

The international community cannot continue to stand idly by.

We need full and unequivocal ceasefires, and for a negotiations process to be established that can deliver a just and lasting peace in the Middle East based upon the creation of a viable Palestinian state.
