Previously Monaghan MIU was open just 9am-5pm Mon-Fri (the shortest opening hours of any such unit in the state). Now it’s 8am-8pm.
The further extension to weekend openings is welcome & must be the first step returning services previously removed from the hospital by FF & FG.

I have today received confirmation that the Minor Injuries Unit at Monaghan Hospital will be open 7 DAYS PER WEEK from July 8th next.
This has been a key Sinn Féin campaign since my election as a TD.
