RT by @lukeming: In a few hours I'm driving to Sligo to meet up with musician @MattMcGranaghan. Tomorrow morning, Matt and I will be in the WRC in Sligo. The opposition is the Micheal English Band, probably the best known band in the Irish Country Music scene.

Matt got a Scope Section decision that he was an employee and not self employed as the Micheal English Band claimed.

The Micheal English band appealed that decision to the Social Welfare Appeals Office. Matt refused to attend without sight of the 'Test Cases' the SWAO admitted to in January 2019.

When the SWAO denied the use of test cases, Matt refused to be a party to the Appeal. The appeal went ahead without Matt.

The Scope Section decision was overturned in Matt's absence using false statements and false evidence. Matt wrote to the Minister the CAO and the Justice Minister almost a year ago requesting that the Appeal decision be set aside because of the evidence of prima facie offences having been committed in and by the SWAO.

All of that evidence has been before the WRC for many months now and we enter the 3rd day of this WRC case for unfair dismissal and that Matt was always an employee.

This will be a show, we have right on our side and I will not put up with any bullshit from anybody.

Just hearing about the death of former TD Senator &amp; Cllr John Connor. Served 5 years on Ros Co. Co. with him. One of the very few Cllrs I've worked with who wasn't one bit afraid of the County Manager. Admired him for that. Rang him on a few occasions &amp; got good advice. RIP John.
