@nicki_hattingh @peterro70652951 @VictoriaPrentis I'm seeing Victoria Prentis on Thursday.

RT @nicki_hattingh: We are an independent coastal nation & we have a chronic shortage of fish. You couldn’t make this shit up.

@VictoriaPrentis @june_mummery

@RishiSunak One way of growing the economy is reinstating the 1988 Merchant Shipping Act.
54% of UK quota a public asset is held by flagships British reg foreign owned.
These vessels are non-dom in the UK they pay nothing into the treasury.
This should've been implemented when we left EU.

@DavidGHFrost @Telegraph Morning Sir.
The fishing industry is still waiting for an explanation as to why you sold out their industry.
1,700 EU still hammering our ocean, unmonitored.
Coastal folk have been discriminated how is this right, they haven't got their Brexit their treasures have been shared.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@NadineDorries Delivered Brexit ?
One reason people voted to leave the EU was to take back full control of our waters & the resource a public asset FISH.
Edward Heath sacrificed coastal communities, Johnson promised to take back control.
He lied and betrayed coastal folk.
NI, Borders ?

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@staffordgary @lia_nici Yes I voted to leave.
Fishing is still tied, NI, borders, welcome to Brino.

@GaryMilltBYEEU @tj1969t @BorisJohnson So the Country can't function without Johnson.
What are you worried about ?

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@BorisJohnson @RoyalFamily God save our fishing industry and our Ocean you have given away.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@JohnRim61105524 @lia_nici I don't think anybody in Parliament read the diabolical deal @DavidGHFrost did.
They have buried their heads in the sand.
Cowardly bunch, sacrificing and discriminating deprived coastal communities is not good and very sad.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@staffordgary @lia_nici How many more times, fisherman were sacrificed for finance and wind energy.
We are still tied to the EU we haven't taken back control of our waters.
Boris sold fishing and seaside towns out.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@GaryMilltBYEEU @tj1969t @BorisJohnson You can't think like that Gary, he has to go.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@TwoFastWheels1 @tj1969t @BorisJohnson Quota is a public asset it can't be sold. Our GOV can take it back just like the milk quota.
Or reinstate the Merchant Act, these flagships with UK quota aren't domicile in the UK.
By the way fisherman didn't sell anything a few big businesses did.

@KatharineByrne2 @GlenTheEd @YeovilVoter @DavidGHFrost When Iceland took back control of their waters the UK was buying Icelandic fish within a few weeks.
There were 1000's of jobs at risk on the Humber, processors needed the raw material.
The EU have factories to feed, employees to pay, i'l let you work it out. 🇬🇧⚓️

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@DCBMEP @DavidGHFrost Not for the fishing industry.
David Frost has discriminated coastal communities.
We voted to take back control of our Country, Johnson and Frost have made an absolute mess of things.
80% seat majority, we should've made a clean break.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/june_mummery/status/

@KatharineByrne2 @GlenTheEd @YeovilVoter @DavidGHFrost OMG are you serious ?
80% of the fish the EU catch comes from our waters.
Damn right we want it all back they have helped themselves for the last 40years.
Of course it's possible.
