Apprenticeships galore in engineering, plumbing, painting, welders, platers, electricians, shipwrights, caulkers, joiners.
1 day at college 4 on the job being taught by the best.

There are many very clever successful skilled trades men that left school at 14.

The U.K. has a shortage of skills. Do schools still teach woodwork, metal work, cookery home economics ? This government just don’t want want to get their hands dirty. Hopeless !
