Re @JohDomne1 No - The British Govt are keen for good relations with the taliban. There’s a naive Faustian hope we can change the Taliban &amp; stop them harbouring terrorists that will attack us.
In the 1930s a lot of Brit MPs / officials thought the same about the Nazis.
