I was there as foreign minister. Everyone thought the OSCE had finally accomplished something.
I told my colleagues don't be so sure. 9 years later Russia instead increased their presence in Georgia by invading.
Sarkozy in 2008 bragged he'd done it but lied and the EU caved.

A fantastic documentary on Estonians' resolve to defend itself the atrocities committed against them during Russian occupation, along with the obligatory whining from local Russians who stayed after the occupation.
I hope there will a version with English subtitles.

70s???
Erkki. *as foreign minister* in 2014 said the president of an EU member state didn't know his own country's history because he worked for Radio Free Europe in the 1980s.
So, not back to the 70s, back to 9 years ago in the Finnish government.
