Hungary has not presented any motives for delaying Sweden's NATO accession. Lithuania, on the other hand, stresses Sweden's importance to Europe's defence, so we will be adding an extra chair at the NATO Summit in Vilnius. Let's not leave the chair empty.

Dmytro is right, our key task at the NATO Summit will be to correct the mistakes of the past. Ukraine's rightful place is in NATO, and it is our task within the Alliance to pave a clear pathway towards the membership. Now is not the time for weakness.

Regime change in Russia is not our problem, they will take care of that themselves. We don't need to meddle in their internal affairs, but Donbas and Crimea are external affairs. That is where our attention and increased support must go until complete liberation.

Putin understands deterrents. That's why Lithuania is very happy to be preparing to host a permanently deployed brigade of German soldiers and that means NATO's eastern flank will be much more secure.
