@LizzieDavies7 @ruskin147 Well, Ms Wales, do you know the answer? It's been bugging me since I stumbled on

@ruskin147 Rory, thank you for sharing this. Can you clarify the pronunciation, please? Being a radio person, I had always heard "Cetlan-Jones". When I saw your Twitter I assumed I had misheard, but I keep hearing it. Is it an English mispronunciation? Should it be the Welsh "ll"?

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist We are happy to have votes from those who share our inclusive values. It appears you do not.

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist The following countries allow self ID GRCs

•Argentina

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist Nothing to do with NI. The Republic introduced self ID for GRCs about 5 years ago. The UK recognises them. But England won’t recognise Scotland’s? Get a grip!

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist Yes. The Scottish Liberal Democrat’s support self id. All our MSPs voted for this legislation.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist So England is happy to recognise a self ID -ed GRC from Ireland but not one from Scotland? And you can’t see the constitutional problem with that?

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist The GRRA does not affect the EA. It actually says so in the text.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

@mybluebellwoods @kerrybuist You don’t change sex when you cross the border. Don’t talk nonsense. You change when you transition. And the protections for that are all in the Equality Act. The only issue is whether or not you can get a GRC. And the UK already recognised GRCs from lots of places with self-id

@ruskin147 politicosays it's your birthday. Many Happy Returns. Does Sophie like cake?

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

@Scattyjan @NicolaSturgeon Utter nonsense. The GRRA does NOTHING to facilitate, or even to fail to prevent, violence against anyone. You don't need a GRC to attack someone. Given that the VAST majority of attacks on women are by cis men, this should not come as a surprise to you.

@kerrybuist @mybluebellwoods The insanity is about the anti democratic policy. But it's also about the lack of morality in treating trans people like this.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/europesheila/

I am dumbfounded by the utter stupidity of the politics as well as the attack on trans people
RT @wendychambLD: If the UK Government believed this legislation was a threat to the Equalities Act I wonder why the Scottish Conservatives gave their MSPs a free vote last month?
Cynical politicking that damages devolution and vilifies a minority.
