For Women Scotland has lost an appeal over the legal definition of a woman.
In a written ruling, Lady Dorrian, the Lord Justice Clerk, set out that a person “with a GRC in the female gender” is defined as a woman under the Equality Act (EA) 2010.

The overwhelming economic dominance of the UK by London is also bad for London.
If rest of the country (especially its big cities) were more prosperous, there'd be less need for big fiscal transfers, & London could keep more of the money it generates.
