If not Independence then what?
RT @alisonthewliss: The UK Government now admits 200 asylum seeking children have gone missing, in a horrific new turn in the saga of the Tory Hostile Environment.
Make no mistake - this is a consequence of Tory policy and Tory choices on how we treat those who seek refuge on our shores.

@Bluesnaw @AgentP22 An unprecedented move from Westminster putting in jeopardy devolution itself.
The Welsh Labour first minister said the moves to block the law sets a "very dangerous precedent" for devolution.

@JimMcLe75772507 @AgentP22 The interpretation of the law is clear, it shouldn’t be a blocking mechanism but an enabling one.
This is why it was never used before despite most bills if not all passed at Holyrood and Westminster had consequences for both reserved and devolved powers.

Donald Dewar was clear enough at the time:

@duncanda51 @AgentP22 347 have been passed at Holyrood since devolution with a good understanding between the two parliaments and the two governments.
This UK government has just used a wrecking ball to smash the 348th and can choose to do the same with any of the other 347 or future Scottish bills.

@Bluesnaw @AgentP22 Donald Dewar disagreed, it was never meant as a blocking instrument.

@Stu1211 @AgentP22 Non, here is what she said, the unprecedented action of the UK government is a full-frontal attack on our Scottish democracy:
RT @NicolaSturgeon: This is a full-frontal attack on our democratically elected Scottish Parliament and it's ability to make it's own decisions on devolved matters. @scotgov will defend the legislation & stand up for Scotland’s Parliament. If this Westminster veto succeeds, it will be first of many

@AgentP22 Non, the First Minister wants a judicial review of section 35, I urge you to read the article.
Donald Dewar created the section 35 to enable cross-border problems to be resolved, not to be used as a wrecking ball to destroy the foundations of the Scottish Parliament.
