Humanity is what we ask for, the UK used to have values, now we are left with inhumane, xenophobic and despicable policies towards refugees.

@Peteonone @Corrupttotheco2 I see, it’s a french problem that this UK government has closed all the safe routes for asylum seekers to reach the UK.
Far from turning a blind eye, they patrol and patrol at great cost and are asking the UK government to fulfil its international obligations towards refugees.

We made it clear that in an Independent Scotland we will respect asylum seekers and refugees as the UK used to and in accordance with international law as per Michael Bond’s wishes:

But they don’t because they don’t want to.
They want to exercise their human right to claim asylum in the UK.
The UK government closed every safe route for them to come, what would you do?

Sometimes right wing populist propaganda makes folk loosing all common sense…

The french authorities are dealing with asylum seekers seeking asylum in France, the UK should deal with asylum seekers seeking asylum in the UK, not Rwanda or France.

It is illegal to refuse to assess asylum seekers when and where they ask to be assessed, the UK government is breaking the law.

They are sent to Rwanda for assessment.
They have no chance to be welcomed in the UK whatever their assessment is successful of not.

The french are not happy with that and they have asked the UK government to process them when they reach the border.
Instead, the UK is sending them to Rwanda, are you happy with that?
