Like @olafdoesstuff , I don’t have a British passport.
This is Scotland, a welcoming Scotland by law, a law passed by a super majority at the Scottish Parliament.
From the late Bashir Ahmad MSP:
What matters in Scotland is not where we come from, but where we are going, together

RT @PRZoeO: For any Dons fan not aware this is a major achievement given this season we were wholly amateur and up against pro teams, 1 of whom has £1m+ of investment per season. I can’t express how proud I am of our women!

@michaelgove Non
We live under inhumane, xenophobic and despicable Tory policies implementing an hostile environment towards migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
If not Independence then what?

@phx1138 @LauraEWebsterr @olafdoesstuff @ScotParl The general public voted for it, it was in our manifesto and we convinced all other political parties except one to vote with us @ScotParl
It is in fact in line with a great British tradition to include non British folk to have the right to vote in the UK.

@tombobc @LauraEWebsterr @olafdoesstuff That’s for the people of England to decide. Here in Scotland, we decided who could vote and who could be a candidate:

@pittstsid @LauraEWebsterr @olafdoesstuff If you move to Newcastle, you’ll have the right to vote and to be a candidate. This is the law in Scotland:

@brodie_prime @LauraEWebsterr @olafdoesstuff It is xenophobic as it goes against the democratic will of the people and of Scotland’s Parliament

…winning the ‘Under 10m Fisher of the Year’
Sort this out Scottish Fishers Association @sff_uk
RT @YourFishingNews: Congratulations to Ashley Mullenger for winning the ‘Under 10m Fisherman of the Year’ category at this year’s !

RT @InLimboBrexit: A new statistics thread ⬇️

"The lowest ever monthly number of applications were concluded in April. At this rate it would take over 3 years before the people behind these 268,100 applications are given a decision."

RT @JCWI_UK: Even if you're born in the UK (to migrant parents), govt forces your parents to shell out over £1000 just to ensure you have citizenship here.

This is unjust, and pushes thousands of young people out of status & into hostile environment. We need birthright citizenship now.

RT @JCWI_UK: The UK has some of the highest visa fees in the world- a migrant family of 4 often has to pay ≈ £50k over 10 years for the right to stay.

Govt puts families through tortuously long & expensive routes to status & denies them rights & support if they're pushed off track.
