@Casumptious Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) states that everyone has the right to seek and enjoy asylum from persecution. An asylum-seeker is an individual who has left their country of origin in order to seek asylum in another country.
Everyone, including you.

@Casumptious You could have claimed asylum in the EU.

Everyone has the right to seek asylum in any country they choose. They must apply for protection in the new country, and the country will then assess whether they meet the criteria of a refugee.

@DrRosena Non, to build a Tory Brexit around the hostile environment towards asylum seekers, refugees and migrants is not the future we want.

This is what the Conservative party has become and what @UKLabour wants to continue to implement a hostile environment towards asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.
RT @Anna_Soubry: is beyond gross. I gave up finding words to describe her in a tweet. It comes to this - Braverman is not only utterly unfit for public office but also to be a Member of Parliament. But this is what the Conservative party has become.
